Beginning Spanish (ages 7-11) at the YMCA:
WHEN: Wednesdays, 4:30 to 5:30 pm
The class will run for 7 weeks, 2/24 to 4/14 (no class 3/17)

COST: The cost for this class is $84 for members and $105 for non-members.

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
In this class your child will build Spanish vocabulary through storytelling, games, movement, music and sign language.
The curriculum follows a natural progression and includes numbers, colors, alphabet & family.

Preschool/Kindergarten Spanish (ages 4-6) at the BDLC:
WHEN: Mondays & Wednesdays 3:30 to 4:00 pm. The class will run for 8 weeks (16 sessions) from 3/3 to 5/3. (no class 3/15 and 3/17)
WHERE: Bloomington Developmental Learning Center, 1807 S. Highland Ave.
COST: $128 ($122 for registrations received by 2/22).

WHEN: Mondays 4:10 to 4:25 pm. The class will run for 9 weeks from 3/1 to 5/3. (no class 3/15 and 3/17)

Intermediate Spanish for Homeschoolers (ages 8-14), sponsored by IDEA Exchange:
WHEN: Wednesdays, 9:30 am to 10:30 am. The class will run for 10 weeks from March 10 to May 19 (no class 3/17).
WHERE: Monroe County Public Library
COST: $80
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
In this class your child will become proficient in Spanish through TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading & Storytelling). This is a graduated immersion technique, focusing on an abundance of authentic language in a condensed period of time. This class is intended for students who have had some prior exposure to the Spanish language.
